From South: M1/M18 or A1 to A64

From West: M62 to Hull, then A63/A165 (coastal route)

By Bus:
The Yorkshire Coastliner is the best way from Leeds & York to Whitby.

Regular Inter-City trains run from London & Edinburgh, change at York for Scarborough and Filey, and across country from Liverpool/Manchester.
The Esk Valley route to Whitby runs via Middlesbrough and the Wolds coast line runs from Hull to Filey and Scarborough.

By Sea:
North Sea Ferries run daily from Rotterdam & Zeebrugge to Hull, only 90 minutes away by road.

By Air:
